Since 2016 MERCURIO is Official dealer for the Italian market of Kawasaki Gas Turbine GmbH, a subsidiary of KAWASAKI Heavy Industries Ltd.

The gas turbines and engines are entirely made in Japan and developed in-house with the latest and most proven technologies.

Kawasaki offers a range of gas turbines from 1.7 MWe to 30 MWe: the Kawasaki GPB series is designed for base load applications, both for grid parallel operation and for island operation. In addition, the Kawasaki GPB series is capable of operating in cogeneration service, with automatic operation capability providing both electricity and heat (steam, hot water, direct heat) by harvesting waste heat with a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG), heat exchanger, or dryer, and in Combined Cycle with a steam turbine generator. With a high total thermal efficiency, the Kawasaki GPB series is capable of highly efficient operation.

Kawasaki has expanded its product range with the highly efficient gas engine KG-18-V with 7.8 MWe and an unmatched efficiency of 49.5% and KG-12-V with 5.2 MWe and the same efficiency!

In 2007, Kawasaki developed a revolutionary gas engine with an efficiency of 48.5% and a low NOx combustion system.

Now there is also a improved model with efficiency of 49.5%.

Power plants using our green gas engines achieve lower operating costs as well as lower emissions for the benefit of the environment.

These highly efficient gas engines can further reduce operating costs in simple cycle or combined heat and power applications.
