Kawasaki GPB 80 is a 7.8 MWe open cycle gas turbine, single shaft type, consisting of 12-stage axial flow compressor and 4-stage axial turbines. The gas turbine generator set consists of gas turbine engine, engine control system, generator and the auxiliary system of the package such as reduction gear, coupling, lubrication, starting and rotation system. It is equipped with double ignition and six-cylinder combustion system.
There are 2 types of models for this series: GPB80 (conventional diffusion) and GPB80D (low dry emission). The applicable fuel for GPB80 is natural gas and diesel.
Alternatively, the GPB80 series can be used with a dual-power system.
